As the title states, Returning Players are hard locked and unable to progress the quest Armor Synthesis Introduction and cannot unlock the ability to use the loom at all. I am assuming this is a bug with Guardian Ranks, because other posts suggest completely fresh and new accounts can progress the quest finely once reaching the correct guardian rank. However, on three separate occasions for three of my friends that I have tried to bring back to the game after they took a complete break from it, they have not been able to progress the quest and have been hardlocked out of completing it.
