Getting a 58-armor roll shows how grinding PVP Comp is not taken seriously by Bungie.
Just reiterating what everyone already knows. :)

It shouldn't exist because no one is going to wear a 50s roll or even low 60s. Artifice Armor should have a minimum of 65 base. That way it can still be equal to a good 68 but can also surpass it. Artifice Armor shouldn't be weaker then regular armor.

I mean, it's not like you go into master dungeons and walk out with a full set of god rolls on the first try. It's just even worse cause you're playing competitive for it. That doesn't mean they should give that away like candy.

Edited by GPrime96: 7/18/2024 11:30:59 PMNot just comp, Master Dungeon is also looking pretty ugly for Artifice Armor rolls. So much so, you’re better off getting armor from Seasonal/Episode Vendors. Which is embarrassing.

1 ReplyI got my class item and got out. Comp is never rewarding enough for the amount of work and bad game modes you have to play

true. I got one good leg piece, a bunch of class item artifice and trash rolls low stats It is not a reliable source thats for sure

Maybe I've just been incredibly unlucky but the drop chance after the guarenteed artifice drop seems to be absurdly low. Think in total this season I've played around 50 matches passed the guarenteed drops and only gotten 2 RNG drops. That's just silly how rare the drops have been.

I swear I only get arms too.

Grinding up, I think I got 6 total rolls, only 1 of which passed my minimum stat requirement to keep. It's cool they added artifice armor to comp, but it's a really poor place to try and get it.

2 RepliesI did comp for days looking for an artifice class item. I noticed it right as it turned into three legendary shards. Havent had the heart to go grind another. But its on my to-do list. Isnt comp its own reward? Its a meditative practice. Learning to control the ever increasing rage and horror at the injustices of life in the face of your own impotence.
