I don't often complain about PvP metas...
...but, good lord, Bungie has to do something about the Hunter prismatic kit. Threaded Spectre is a problem, especially when combined with the smoke melee and the slow dodges, and the super is also in major need of being toned down a lot. I know they said they're looking at it, but man they need to do something about it quick.

Same concept and very similar in theory, so the JuSt aVoId theM crowd should feel the same about specter

2 RepliesI think a lot of people are getting lost in the sauce in what people such as yourself are saying. They get mad cause they think you're asking for singular nerfs because the abilities are too powerful But it's not that the abilities are too powerful. It's that there are far too many that synergize into each other with prismatic kit. A smoke bomb should be good. The clone should be good. Swarm grenade should be good. The super should be good. Exotic synergy should be good. But taking all those oppressive abilities together into one kit? It's wild.

Smokes - takes careful aiming and then time to dissipate. Threaded spectre - takes multiple shots to destroy, then another shot to destroy threadlngs. Swarm - give up, because you're not destroying this. While in a smoke, you can't see anything. The swarm grenades are aggressive and leave you low health for a while with the burn. Swarms serve too many functions for such a fast cooldown. I don't have a problem with the super, but I don't really understand why it has a faster cooldown than Thundercrash. I'm fine with Threaded Spectre being strong, because it does add 10 seconds to Dodge.. But when multiple Hunters use the ability at once, it's kind of impossible to push or trust your radar, especially in 6v6 modes. I think the radar manipulation aspect of the Clone should be removed.

9 RepliesWhat about the titan prismatic super that can get 6 kills or the warlock super that has tons of resilience? And might as well nerf titans and warlocks for getting 3 melee abilities each. A resilience nerf would be appreciated too

Naruto pvp with Clones every 11 sec with prismátic 2 Clones for each hunter now pvp is mayority hunter monkeys so .. 6x2= 12 Clones every 11 or 15 secs :D super balance!!!!!! The radar always ping.!!!!! Ooh I almost forget the the smoke granade those are another pings every 40-60 sec jajajajaja is naruto jutsu

2 RepliesDon’t worry about the legion of prismatic hunters trashing your post… any logically and objectively thinking person knows exactly that Prismatic Hunters are not just OP but as a matter of fact… completely BROKEN in pvp. Fyi… The next sandbox update is coming in early Aug (probably 1st or 2nd week) and Prismatic Hunters are going to receive 2 nerfs (Bungo already said that last week). So let’s just sit tight and let’s see the change in practice… Hopefully the balance fix will be fair and just.

As a Hunter player I can’t stand them either cause they slow the game down too much. Just switched to arc strider for speed

4 RepliesEdited by Rainbine 9545: 7/15/2024 12:42:20 AMIs it wrong to say I never actually had a problem with prismatic anything and when I mean that I mean I either deal with it quickly or I never run into it, I mean I don’t even mind the new warlock super as I still have 3 tap potential with a vorpal dmt, not joking,3 tap headshot it, I think the precision damage goes from 98 to 103 But currently I don’t have any issues with the prismatic stuff, but I don’t know what the problem is this, what does prismatic do that I don’t know, I don’t think it gives you any damage resistance, i don’t think any of the abilities it has are op and lastly, you have to really build into it

At this point, i really think yall just copy and paste what yall gonna complain about lol. I say that cause once something seems to be the thing, a lot of yall will just keep repeating the same points over and over. Complaining has become a meta like builds and weapons lol.

Key word here is combined. We throw all our abilities at the same time to try to get a kill. When warlocks and titans do that it's just as devastating.

5 RepliesCan't really blame hunter mains. Bungie has done this and it's been coming a while. If you buff and buff one class with little nerfs then in time the power etc is going to be broken on in relation to the next 2 classes. Take pve for example, there are dungeon and raid hunter only lfg posts. Warlocks are not having as much trouble as titans because titans got more nerfs then Hunters had buffs. No nerf, just give the others equal attention or it will be a 1 class game
