Why do 2000 power exotic engrams drop to 1990 when focus decoding?
I got a few 2000 power exotic engrams yesterday and when I tried to focus decode them for infusion fuel, the item I got was dropped down to 1990. I haven't seen any other instance of any other engram type dropping to a lower level when decoding so why are Exotics being smacked down? All of my characters are 2000 and I just needed to bring up a pair of exotic gloves and now I'm stuck having to wait for a random pinnacle drop in that slot before I can infuse them.

Edited by Kuzie: 7/12/2024 1:04:53 PMYou can't focus exotics at your current power level. exotics will only decode at rahool to hardcap of level 1990 You will have to infuse them up to 2000 to be honest there's no real point. You may as well just wait.
