Salvations Edge 3rd Encounter please can you advise?

Hi all, I was running the 3rd encounter and we tried the method where everyone has a set plate in all 3 rooms. But we found if something went wrong e.g. plate close was missed there was confusion on how to recover as we didn't know who needed to re-send the charge. Is there a way to know which plate needs to re-send a charge if the pathing between plates is not known? Or would we be better off having either the sender's or the closers move plates for each room so then people are paired up and always sending to the same person in each room? Thanks, Andy

Not sure if I understand but in the 2nd and 3rd rooms the end and start are not necessarily on the same side, but it’s a fixed pattern. Like for the center start plate, the end plate is on the left in the 2nd room and on the right in the 3rd room, if I remember. What we do is to either fix the start or the end plate, with the 2-men pair unchanged. So 1 from each pair move positions in the 2nd and 3rd room based on the pattern that I don’t remember clearly

https://www.destructoid.com/destiny-2-salvations-edge-third-encounter-raid-guide-repository/ this site has a good map that shows the direction of the wires. I recommend saving it to a raid resources folder or something you can keep handy. https://youtu.be/16USaLsJ3WM?si=1fVmn2oxiWD4zRl7 This guide can also show you a way to do it so you don't need to know where they go since you do them all at once 3 times then let it fail on purpose, which is how I like to do it Hopefully one of those helps with your question.
