Better Devils stats are embarrassing.
I think we can all collectively agree that Better Devils stats are not up to par, even as vendor weapon(along with some other reissued weapons). In a world where rose, igneous and craftable weapons exist I think it's pretty safe to give it a stat bump. I'm thinking 5 range, 10 stability, 10 handling, 10 reload. I know nadir is present so if range is something you don't want to give it more of then make it 15 stability, 10 handling, 10 reload so it's in more line with other hand cannons in that slot and wont power creep anything
Also fix the recoil direction there's absolutely no reason a hand cannon in 2024 should have that stat in the 80s (yes I'm looking at you too midnight coup).
Please do something because it's kinda sad looking at such an iconic weapon being so mistreated.

Give it a unique origion trait "The 12th Devil": having 11 other better Devils in your vault grants a stability , range and reload bonus to the one you have equipped -
3 RepliesBut better devils isn’t a ritual weapon. It is a world drop that was recycled from year one. I would expect the stats to be sub par. Rose is an option for those who prefer that.

This thing is trying to compete with Kept Confidence, which is craftable, feels incredible, has good perks, and the biggest thing, crushes BD stat-wise. My Kept Confidence has over 70 range and 70 stability. The only department it lacks in is handling, and it still is going to top most Better Devils rolls there. BD on the other hand struggles to hit 60 in any category. Zen Moment helps, but it still kicks like a mule.

I think BD is fine. It has nice traits and the low stats are not that noticeable in pve imo.

5 RepliesUnfortunately it's just a product of it's time, it's OK and being in the standard crucible loot pool that's pretty par for the course. I don't think making it a stat monster is the right direction to go, especially considering 140hc the competition.
