Drops from IB, 98% is primary or energy weapon.
Woukd be nice to get something else from IB than only energy or primary weapons. Not a single heavy weapon and only 2 pieces of armor this IB event. I almost got the gilding done too. reset and all. This should be adressed i think, cause it's a bit out of balance.

It’s because there’s no heavy weapon available in the IB loot this time. It’s taken me over a week to drop a 2000 heavy, the last item I needed (got it from hawthorn)

There are no heavies in the drop loot pool right now + Bungie adjusted IB before to reduce armor drops (this also affects the pinnacle rewards too since they use the same spawn logic)

Out of the 24 pinnacles, all but 3 were primaries or energy. And most were primary. For all pinnacles this week so far, 5 primary, 4 special, 1 heavy, 1 head, 2 chest, 1 class. Just waiting for arms and legs for 2000. Not going to push too hard for it, when it happens it happens. I keep track to convince myself I'm not crazy and that the loot distribution has been as bad as I'm thinking it was. Not just grumpy hindsight or conspiracy theory.

No power weapons or robes regardless if it’s IB, Pathfinder, NFs, seasonal activities etc They simply are extremely rare drops. So I’ll run powerful gear to get them up to snuff and I’m running out powerful drops at this point. This isn’t new with leveling and why the people who cried that the game needed leveling so they had “a purpose to play” should be flogged.

I’m pretty sure most of if not all of my kinetic slot weapons in the vault have all been brought up to 2000

Reason why pinnacle should be removed, it serves no purpose other than time padding as "content" and "purpose to play"

Yes, you are absolutely right. I have done the 8 pinnacles on two characters and every single one of the drops was either primary or special. Not one single heavy or armour drop. No exaggerating.

I got plenty of Kinetic and some Energy infusion fuel though I can't find a 2000 heavy to save my life
