Exotic cipher
Can we get more sources for exotic cipher please. I have to buy at least 30 exotics and wanna upgrade my armor. Having only 2 viable sources for getting those is kind of anoying because there are so many ways we can use them now.

In other words you want every exotic in the game in a matter of 2 weeks? Too many sources for ciphers they become useless. That need for ciphers keeps you playing

24 RepliesAs a new player ask yourself this question - How long do you think it took everyone else to collect / accumulate 30 exotic pieces? It's a process. Nobody is immune from It. With the new system, you have the advantage of being able to choose the piece you want.....very different than grinding various methods in the past only to whiff time and again. In other words, you're guaranteed to get what you're looking for.....what more can you ask for? Be reasonable. Just a simple matter of farming to get the Ciphers. Besides.....you're incorrect citing "2 viable sources". You can obtain via: Triumph Seasonal rank up Xur weekly quest Xurr rank up Rehool rank up Your request here isn't going to be honored. Hypothetically, even if more were on offer it would most likely be via a means you'd not consider "viable" (e.g. GMs).

7 RepliesWhat do you need ciphers for? To unlock them in collections? Cause if you’re focusing tier 3 don’t it drops the same stats as tier 2 focusing.

I just cashed in my Xur bounty for one and immediately used it. It would be helpful if they allowed players to pick one up after finishing it instead of waiting a week. I almost have Rahool leveled again, I’ll grab another Xur bounty next week and when the next act of echoes starts we get one from the pass.. So I’ll start with 3 lol and use them in a week. I understand it’s suppose to be a rare resource but they should give us the option to do the bounty every week so we at least have one. Other than that I understand it’s not suppose to raining ciphers.

3 RepliesCould always do the 9 ritual completions per character for 9 total exotic engrams per week and roll the dice with Rahool. Might not need as many ciphers as you think you do.
