Why do I have to replay the campaign on my other characters, when I already beat it on my main?
It’s too much. They need to change it. What’s the point.

After the 3rd time playing it, Home 2 is incredibly frustrating and tedious Fight through a million enemies and turrets to kill 2 bubble psions to deactivate the 2 generator shields Then, go get a bomb from a certain glowing Cabal, then fight through a barrage of gunfire and the 45 second freezing cold timer and throw bomb at the 2 generators, with perfect accuracy , off by a foot, you have to find another bomb Then move 20 feet down the hill to do it again -

I still to this day don't have stasis or strand unlocked on my titan. Never will with the way it's designed to unlock them, especially strand. I don't even have strand fully unlocked on my main character because its extremely boring and tedious to unlock the rest of the subclass lol

1 ReplyTil this day I refuse to do Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, Witch Queen, and certainly not Lightfall. It's not happening. I would pay to simply unlock Stasis and Strand for my other two characters at a reasonable price ($5 each for $20), but not at what they're asking for with this campaign boost stuff. Or just tie Campaign progress to the account since it's basically a questline and there's already precedent for quest progression on account.

Probably 50/50 in the community on this topic. I don’t see it going away especially with so many side quests and hidden objectives that essentially have you repeating the campaign several times. I skipped the Class Items completely and I’m still able to run endgame activities so skipping the campaign on your last character should be fine.

And if you pay for the campaign boost, then that’s exactly what it is. You skip the campaign but the six post campaign Adventures still need to be completed again to fully unlock prismatic for each character. I found the campaign to be annoying enough that I have no intention of playing through it again on my other two characters. -

Timegates The more there are the more time they have to produce content. It is possible to have this time without such things, but bungo doesn't have such tallented game designers. Maybe they have, but not on the lead positions. They lost vision years ago. To make a great game you have to have vision and character. Just look at these compaigns or raids. Timer + debuff + immobility. Texbook game design for beginners and nothing more.

Edited by PandaPapa146: 7/6/2024 4:00:19 PMI did it first on my H on normal mode…then, confusingly, explored PH zones, principally to* get the regional chests, which is something I do each time a new set appears; I was also chasing down other collectibles - notably for the exotic Khostov quest, though I wasn’t focused on it just then…I was hunting ghosts, which all got rather confusing, not to mention those* feathers! 😵💫 By the time I was done hunting stuff, I’d nearly completed the exotic Khostov quest…only the final, elusive 17th mote remained…3-4 Meatballs later, I was done with the quest, got my E Khostov, and I was done with the PH zone. Time to take T for a spin through the Campaign on Legend… 15 minutes later…T back on normal mode…got as far as the last few big missions, and ran out of energy or the desire to fight the Witness again…so, that’s that for now! Now, my T and W are excluded from the PH zone…because I just don’t want to rinse and repeat the Campaign x3… 🧐 IMHO: clear the Campaign on one character, and it should open PH zone and other stuff to all 3 characters…with an option to repeat the Campaign for the other 2 characters, if desired! Trying to force players to do stuff, as mentioned above, usually backfires…like, nearly always! 🫤 Anyhoo, just my 2d worth. 😐 Ease springs! 🫡 *autobot typos

First I ran my hunter, then I ran my warlock. I was really debating running the titan. I wasn't going to but a friend decided to get the DLC a few days ago and I decided to run the titan to get him through the campaign and pick up the 2 fragments I missed. At least it wasn't like the last campaign on pneumonia where you had to buy the fragments for every character after the campaign.

You don’t have to you can spend 2000 silver to skip the campaign. Same as every other mmo.
