Because now we are sat waiting to get glimmer so we can focus stuff… I’ve already used my phantasmal fragments upgrading current guns.
Now I’m sat on 40+ banner engrams with nothing to do but wait till I passively get it so I can get the new guns… ridiculous change.
And no, we are not farming public events like it’s 2017 I want to play the content that I want to play without having to go farm materials that we had in the damn first place.

3 RepliesParity, instead of making the game easier to engage with as a new players, Bungie disrespected everyone who has been playing for any amount of time and got rid of shards. Don't even get me started on swapping shards for the phantasmal cores that are a huge decrease in value. Parity.. we all suffer and have to grind old crap to play a little with the new stuff. The longer they keep us playing old content, the less they need to come up with new content to play.

Edited by A Succulent Chinese Meal: 7/8/2024 4:23:16 PMMore grinding= higher player account. Don’t kid yourselves people. It’s a business. What did you expect from a greedy corporation?

2 RepliesNew lights were hitting a wall like you are complaining about now because they didn't have 7 years worth of Shards to draw from Bungie put everyone in the same boat

They were too easy to mass accumulate and people with 30k+ had no incentive to ever grind materials, especially after not playing for a long period and coming back resource rich.

They didn't. They just hid any visuals about them. They're still in the game and you still get them from dismantling gear. The reason they did that is to throttle players progress and make things take longer, thereby padding their numbers.

Bungle is a bunch of little -blam!- ! If there’s a way to make you Grind more they will do it. Comes from years of being hopeless nerds who got Fkd with. So now they program a way to Fk with other people since they can’t do it physically. 🤔

Cuz we OP's had them. I'm sure they'll adjust the economy when everyone quits playing.

Yup. Redistribution of income and wealth feels bad, even in a video game.
