1.) So Hunters don't need Celestial Nighthawk when using Still Hunt
2.) so other classes can use Still Hunt as effectively as Hunters.
Nighthawk Still Hunter is so superior to its base variant that Still Hunt may as well have been a Hunter specific exotic, and given how that concept was put to rest it doesn't make sense that Hunters have such a blatant advantage with it

1 ReplyNah I prefer it this way. If anything I want more super based exotic weapons that can go to the next level when paired with the right class and exotic. It would be cool to have a arc Trace rifle that fires a chaos reach beam, that works woth geomags, or a Moutaintop styled grenade launcher that fires a missile of lightning that works with cuirass of the falling star. The answer should be to make more unique class exotic + Exotic weapon combos, rather than just taking the special interaction and giving it to everyone. We didn’t do it with Thorn/Osteo + Necrotic, we shouldn’t do it here either.

I just hope when they nerf it they don't absolutely destroy it. This is definitely something i could see them over correcting on.

30 RepliesJust use microcosm if you're not playing as a hunter. Did 3.3m damage on the witness with one kinetic surge mod. If one of my clanmates didn't goomba me during dps I could've dished out a little more. Still hunt with celestial is like the weapons of sorrow with necrotic.

I'd love for titans & warlock to be able to have their own DPS combo weapons that mix with thier super & and weapons like GG nighthawk & still hunt, but I don't think it would be good for the game.
And we know Bungie hates fun
These interactions need to remain with their respective combos. More combinations like them should also be added.

2 Replies"1.) So Hunters don't need Celestial Nighthawk when using Still Hunt" No, that's the point. Build, setup, that's Endgame. "2.) so other classes can use Still Hunt as effectively as Hunters". All characters level together, there's no excuse... for not swapping to use the kit if you wanted. i.e. "[I don't want to use Hunter]", isn't valid...

4 RepliesI kind of get that, but I think a better thing for the catalyst would be basically 6 shooter Golden Gun. Getting a kill with the super mode of Still Hunt refunds energy for the Golden Gun mode. That way you can fire the 3 shots and then instantly activate it again. Either that or just getting that shot back so you can keep firing it and in turn stacking the damage increase of each shot that Marksman has.
