The muted microphone logo on my name in-game
Does everyone have this since FS? Kinda irritating tbh & wondering if it's something in my Xbox settings.
Any way to get rid of it if it's in destiny?

I have a [b]Xbox Series X[/b] & still have the same issue. It happened to me twice in a row. The fact they didn't fix for more than a month. Unbelievable

1 ReplyIt showed up for me since the beginning of The Final Shape. I've never had this issue before then I've reached out to Bungie countless times with out any response from them. For those who tell you to go into settings and that this issue can be fixed there are incorrect. As of today I'm still having this issue...

1 ReplyYeh this has just appeared since the release of the DLC and i read somewhere either on twitter or the help forums that Bungie are aware of the issue. It has nothing to do with your settings or nat type

3 RepliesFor me it seems like a pretty consistent setting. Don't think it's a bug at all, just a very obvious way to tell if people in game chat can hear you or not. Because for me it's always there unless I physically unmute my mic and am talking in game chat

Try quitting destiny then sign back in join up again sometimes it works 1st try sometimes 2nd👍

I'm on Xbox X, and same. My other Xbox friends all have the issue as well.

7 RepliesJust go into: settings > sound And turn voice chat off. You strike me as someone who never uses it anyway. The mute icon is there to indicate that you are in game chat and have your mic muted.

When I join a chat the x goes away. It's always been there when I play on Xbox if my headset is detached. On PC I never see it.
