Extending the timer on the "Joining allies" teleport in Breach isn't enough
Dear Bungie, plz,
This mechanic in this type of activity is completely absurd, especially when it is excessively punishing to the people who get teleported and has no consequences for the person who pushed ahead.
If I bonk a piston and they teleport me to the boss, it's my hammer charge that's wasted.
Also, why do I lose all of my collected data when I'm teleported to the encounter?!
All this does is encourage people to play spitefully, leave activities early, or circumvent the forced matchmaking system to play solo without having to do it on expert. Which you clearly don't want people to be able to do because you refuse to offer private activities at sub-expert difficulties.
I love getting matchmade with randoms who will take several minutes flying around the map with me desperately trying to find any scrap of radiolite or a piston to bonk before moving on. I am disappointed but totally understand when people wait a little bit but aren't willing to be quite as excessive about it. But when some -blam!- starts the encounter immediately without giving anyone a chance to even try, why should I stay and help?
Honestly I don't understand why this activity is designed like this lol. Conceptually I really like it as far as repetitive seasonal activities go, but I hate that one of the best parts is so easily ruined for everyone by one person.
If you're not gonna make it completely impossible for people to do this, please consider opening up to suggestions for some fun and petty ways the person responsible for the teleport can be punished because I bet I'm not the only person who's thought about it lmao.
I know the timer is gonna be extended, but unless it's by a very significant amount, I don't have faith that it will solve this problem.
