The loadout system is excellent and a huge upgrade from saving loadouts in DIM. But adding flexibility with the option to save empty weapons slots would be a huge quality of life improvement. With shifting metas, champion mods, and regular updates to the sandbox, it's just often more efficient to equip my loadout and weapons separately. I'm aware it's sort of possible to save empty weapons to a loadout by using guns I plan to dismantle - first saving the loadout and then dismantling those weapons. But then every time I want to make even a tiny change to my loadout, I need to find three more weapons to dismantle. While not difficult, it's extremely annoying.
