Good hunter build???

I’m planning on doing my first raid today and it’s going to be Last Wish. Anyone have any ideas on a good hunter build that has decent damage output and if possible, good survivability because I am not always the best at staying alive. I know, I know, skill issue.

  • Lucky pants + malfeasance + cascade point gl is solid dps while also being very easy/forgiving (unlike celestial + still hunt) and sustainable because you’re mostly using your primary rather than burning through heavy ammo. For energy I like voltshot is indebted kindness for general ad clear and decent orange bar damage.

    • You've got options, it depends on how you like to play and what you have access to. For the most part, keeping your resilience and recovery stats high and playing safe should help keep you alive. Solar Hunter running Marksman Golden Gun and Still Hunt with with Celestial Nighthawk is really good for boss damage. You could throw on Healing grenades for survivability here. If you don't have Still Hunt, you could use a solar primary with Heal Clip for further survivability. If you're really worried about staying alive you could make an invisible void hunter build. Gyrfalcon's Hauberk and a void primary of your choice. You could even add Devour into the build with aspects if you need to. I think Leviathian's Breath puts out pretty good boss damage if you run void during boss fights. When it comes to other subclasses, I don't think they have many survivability options baked in, so using an exotic armor like Assassin's Cowl or Wormhusk Crown could work on those.
