Exotic Class Items and Scintillation farming have shown that grinding is just not fun anymore
I get it’s a looter shooter. But there comes a point where the player’s time is not respected and it’s very obnoxious. There are 64 combos on the class item. For 3 characters. There are 36 combos on the LFR. Sure, double drops and double first column perks can help. But there is no duplicate protection. There is no way for me to say what I DON’T want. I have done this GM way more than I would like and I have gotten at least 30 drops of the LFR without the one combo I am looking for but I have received many duplicates. I have opened an obscene amount of chests and I don’t have a single class item that is even usable for Titan or Hunter.
You NEED to give us a way to indicate what we are looking for. I’m not asking for handouts. But let us pick 1-3 things that we DON’T want to at least narrow down the amount of trash / unusable drops we get. After 7 years of this I’m getting really tired of dismantling nearly everything I get because the game wants me to grind just for the sake of the grind. It makes me want to just stop. And without a clear future for the game, I am looking for reasons to stop.

3 RepliesI just wish there was a way to grind it through gameplay without getting another person. I like that the mission was built the way it was. I would be excited if they made a new mission that you could grind solo. I don’t really enjoy opening chests. lol I’ve been running the mission but I’d do it more if I could just start it up and run it. Or make a harder version that allows either extra drop or something. Definitely could be harder.

Duplication is my only gripe, so many variations to be had, but I get the same 2 or 3 useless ones time and again, that’s not rng.

I got Vauban in Warframe BEFORE they changed the acquisition method. Legit took MONTHS of waiting on the correct alerts to be available to get that one last piece to craft it.

11 Repliesfinal shape is trash. this game is not a hobby anymore. inwouldnt care so much if it wasn’t this soon but we just dropped $100 bucks and in some cases more if you buy more than one copy. the rest of my fireteam switched to apex behind final shape changes. final shape is trash.

1 ReplyI think once you plant all luminous seeds in all 3 areas, you should gain a 50% drop chance for exotic class items on an overthrow clear regardless if you did the exotic mission or not. Then, they could triple the drop rate for the exotic mission
