2 RepliesIt’s not the wyverns it’s the blast radius. Like it’s a shotgun how can it one shot me with a full auto shotgun and not way to counter it. Bungie needs to make big enemies like that have a plate we can shoot to stun it or something if we don’t outright kill it in lower level content. Same with hydras they need a drone that we can kill to temporarily bring down its shield since they all get a full auto grenade launcher.

In the GM a wyvern 1 shot my mate and me literally 4 seconds after its death while frozen. How? Idk. No projectile, not alive, hard CC... f*ck wyverns and hydra splash damage!

shoot them in the gun, if not a boss type it staggers it exposing the chest crit.

A blinding GL makes them completely irrelevant. It’s not the mob that is a problem, it’s the failure to adapt.

For the GM Just kepp your heavy ammo / supers for them. The other ennemies can be dealt with basic abilities and weapons

If you are in a GM, then firstly congrats, Glassway was a million times worse at launch so you've got it easy, secondly blinding grenades, Outbreak x3, and silence and squall/stasis are your friends here. Try to funnel them through centre if you can, create a kill box, otherwise just freeze em. They don't need nerfing, they are horrible and they are meant to be, I love the panic of the strike when the overloads and wyverns are released but as I say, it's a cake walk compared to how it used to be

Wyverns are manageable. It’s Wizards that I’ve got a bone to pick with. Ever since Ghosts of the Deep I’ve been shredded by them more than a block of Parmesan.

Freeze, suspend, blind, suppress… many ways to easily dispose of them…

I think they could do with reducing some wyvern abilities. Taken ogres however, can eat a bag of rotten eggs for all I care, the knockbacl attack is awful.

I recommend using Blinding Grenade Launchers. I always use them for this GM, and it makes wyverns so much easier to deal with and can help control the ads throughout the GM.
