A friend and I just ran Dual Destiny, and after choosing peace and listening to Savathun drone on, the pedestals with the class items spawned - except there were no class items to collect. The usual timer that shows up to tell you how long you've got left before mission end also did not show up. No exotic class item showed up in the Postmaster, either.
