Hello Bungie, I would like to ask if the company/dev team - is ok with how many players are having the Exotic class item, according to light.gg the values seems to be quite low ~10-20% depends on the class.
If the values are indeed low, is there is any chance that there will be alternative ways to enable access to the exotic class items for more player base? Bound to some other activities like reset ghost vendor, or second reset, or removing the time limit in the duo mission, and giving the one item after competition, and with as is time bound mission add 50% or so % chance to having double second item drop.
Thank you.

3 RepliesTime will tell. But funny thing, I was under impression that exotic class item will work with the normal exotic. So I was not aware, that the exotic class item is same logic as other exotics, equipped only one at the time. So my interest in the class item dropped a little bit. But eventually there will be a meta build, with the class item, and not having it then, will bring more frustration. So it is still important, that bungie will bring some other way to acquire it. Make the player base happy. Make me happy.

Hmmmm. -A married working father that put in effort to find one player to play with and watched a YouTube video.

2 RepliesQoL change? So, change it due to people refusing not to do it. The timer is in no way a problem for that mission. You get more than enough time for each section to be completed, and the quicker you do it, the more time you get. Sounds like if you're having trouble with the timer, then you can't grasp describing or using an actual list of each symbols names, or you're having trouble figuring out the simple clock part.

1 ReplyEdited by Spicy Water: 6/28/2024 2:04:20 PMMore people have claimed the class item triumph than that for the legendary khvostov according to bray.tech. That’s easily soloable and not the part of the khvostov quest that was glitched, so the numbers seem fine to me. DM me, I can run the mission with you this weekend if you have a mic

I would also like to know this answer. Any Updates Bungie ??

6 RepliesI have yet to meet someone in my clan or lfg who is using any of the new exotic class item instead of regular exotics for endgame. Even the streamers build for solo endgame stuff still depends on classic exotics. I'll just say it... it's a meme build item which is fun to get but pointless to use. Yes there will be broken builds with it but given the rng and bungie fun police fixing OP stuff, it won't really last long enough to be useful in endgame. This week's NF (glassway) is one of the challenging strikes. Yet, I haven't seen any top streamer or lfg post using a class item for getting an edge. Same with master raid of this week. No builds (yet) that depends on class item specific perks to give an advantage. Hell, not even slip streamers use it... I enjoyed the new regular armour better on my lock and titan (chest piece is fun). I will probably get the dual Destiny done in next few weeks but I don't think it will change my gameplay or load out. I would rather invest my limited playtime in getting better stat artifice armour. My 2c.

1 ReplyWith about 60 rolls per character and maybe a handfull that are actually really good while the others are mediocre at best. Why would people who are limited on time keep grinding away for the chance at this exotic. I liked the idea but, in practice, there just isn't the incentive for most people to grind out all 180 of these to use the one they want. This is maybe one of the very few rewards that somewhat rewards your ability and time as playing and earning these will eventualy get you those god rolls and that slight advantage over others.

Even if it is that low, why would they change how to get it. No one is being stopped from doing the mission to get them. You also open up a whole different problem if they do change it. If bungie is forced to change how to get them just because people made the choice to bot do the mission, then how long until people are wanting them to put alternatives for raid and dungeon exotics. I mean, that's like saying bungie should give out God rolls to everyone just because they play game. If you don't want to play it the way it was intended and earn it the right way, then don't do it and expect it to be catered to you.

3 RepliesEdited by The Hermit IX: 6/28/2024 2:03:17 AMI have it and I’m a solo player. Thanks to Jonty28 for taking his personal time and guiding me through it. It’s a fantastic mission with fun mechanics and is one of my favorite exotic missions to date. Ask a friend, clan member, use lfg, discord or ask one of the players like Jonty that post and offer help on the forums. You have to make an effort to expand your horizons in a multi player game if you want the best loot. I’ve farmed 20 rolls so far. So far everyone that’s responding has one other than the guy who’s got one character at 1900 and doesn’t play or have the FS.

The game provides you with the means that find another player to complete the mission. It’s a choice to not use them.

I got a heap of them and I've only ever done the mission twice. I don't see a problem here.

3 RepliesThis is an easy answer... Bungie will just create a fast and simple way to acquire them in the probably near future. Just like they have done in the past. Player grind hours/days/months for an item, get it . Just for Bungie to hand it to everyone for free or per Eververse or even a mere little 5 minute quest. So just wait ..

2 RepliesI have gotten maybe 10 class items per character… not 1 that i am tempted to use.
-
No. Earn it like we did or shut up.

Edited by Joulevette12: 6/28/2024 4:45:01 PMDang I haven't did it yet that's pretty bad especially if ppl got it and being under used do to it being mediocre or awful RNG rolls nm it was one of they main selling points for the dlc I know they was extremely sought for but I didn't know it was that bad including farming them making it literally burn out tedious

I have a few cloaks they all suck,
-
7 Replies10-20% seems low. Then again I only unlocked the mission late last week.
-
2 RepliesTo me, the class items are all about enhancing your killing power, but they don't do a whole lot for heals. One roll my buddy has is Synthoceps/Calibans. It's great for just about everything except Master content. He uses it with a Threaded Spike and Buried Bloodline for heals. However, his only heals or from orbs and Buried Bloodline. Sure, some rolls are fantastic for healing, but Prismatic is fairly new, so people still aren't sure how to use it in a Gm. For their first few clears, they'll stick to the Ol' Reliable Heal lock, or Celestial Hunter.

1 ReplyThe mission is easy. You have multiple ways of finding people to due it with. But if you’re going to continue to complain when they’re not going to change it at all. At all the debs who worked on it deserve to have their work intact. If you’re not willing to find another person than guess what you won’t get the Exotic Class item. Stop complaining and go due it

5 RepliesRefund TFS.

3 RepliesPost this everywhere on destiny 2 on Twitter, Facebook, etc. It’s the only way other players will have a chance at getting the mission looked at.

An exotic class item dropped at the end of a 2005 coop story mission.

1 ReplyDon't be lazy and do the mission... stop expecting everything to be easy and given for free... tell us you're a casual without telling us
-
Why not do the mission which is a lot of fun, and that the design team did a great job putting together? You're missing out on great content.

They probably will next episode. Gotta have it be exclusive for a bit
