Khvostov is pretty good especially with the warlock build don't get me wrong but it's base ttk is .8 with 27 meters of range and yet 340 pulses have a base .67 ttk and have 40+ meters. It's so funny that people cry over the dumbest stuff in this game lol.

With very high uptime and the ability to be buffed by orbs, the damage they deal both on initial impact and on their returning bounces allows Khvostov to neutrally drop it’s time-to-kill down to a level usually reserved for more difficult-to-trigger damage boosts. Bungie just confirmed you're wrong

1 ReplyWell, it's getting nerfed, the meta cycle rolls along A weapon or ability is good enough to stand out, snowflakes cry, Bungie looks at Trials data, good thing is buried, another weapon or ability stands out....repeat
-
Nerfs are generally bad for the game
-
3 RepliesThis is something I can honestly laugh about. It’s an exotic, it’s supposed to be like it is now. It doesn’t need a nerf. I honestly hope they drop a catalyst for it. The catalyst could be healing or something.
-
6 RepliesIt’s .73 with the ricochet bullet And enjoy the nerf crutcher
-
2 RepliesIt is not even a meta gun, just a run in mill auto rifle with a ricochet perk. Heck, if you decide to run the Suros regimen, you would probably get the same result.
-
I don't know, I just got it today and having only used it in PvE I can see it being an issue. Same with the Storm's Edge super; both getting nerfed for PvP will break my heart because it'll surely bleed over into PvE but based entirely on my experience with them it seems inevitable.

6 RepliesGuess you were wrong, funnily enough they're fixing Red Death too. Two guns over performing because they were bugged, fancy that...
-
And yet khvostov had what was it triple the kills in trials last weekend Ye it’s defo the problem
-
1 ReplyThey just nerfed it lmao. Keep whining degens.
-
2 RepliesIdk man it’s got the worst “quest” ever and it still managed to get the most kills in trials and it’s one of the most used weapons, also the recoil on it is bugged. Bungie dropped the ball.
-
There’s a reason why it had almost 5 million kills in trials this past weekend lol, and not everyone was running the warlock helmet either. The ttk is not the issue, it’s the general ease of use (0 recoil) and ability to put in free damage to players not even in the engagement.
-
The TTK is less an issue than the fact that its recoil is bugged, in addition to creating extra value with ricochets just as a neutral benefit.

13 RepliesEdited by iidaptive: 6/27/2024 6:17:11 AMPpl who don’t think it’s a problem are not playing PvP period. Edit. You just crutch it yourself. Or that
-
1 Replywhat a pity that we can’t take khvostov and jotun together 🙃
-
1 ReplySo why is it equipped on that hunter 😏 it’s got 87 aa… why the -blam!- would pretty much all of trials players use it. Fact of the matter is it’s easy to use. Try hards that only know how to crutch will sit here and tell you pulse have a faster ttk. Cool lol must be a reason that’s the only thing people are using. People crying about hand cannons having dumb aim assist, that gun essentially shoots itself 🤦🏻♂️

They should nerf 340s too
-
1 ReplyPlay trials against 3 speakers helms + 3 Khvostov's. 340's are a problem as well, but they aren't as popular. Maybe they should lower the fire rate back to 320 like they were in year 1
