Ascension doesn't work with reaper, powerful attraction, dynamo, energy mods, spirit of wormhusk, any of the dodge related aspects, doesn't count as an ability for spirit of inmost light, among other class ability effects, despite using your class ability energy. The only thing I've found it has synergy with is spirit of the dragon.
