I wouldn’t expect Weapon of Sorrow DoT damage to activate [b]Stylish Executioner[/b] equipped to the Prismatic Subclass much the same way I wouldn’t expect Kinetic Tremors to do so, based on the description of this Aspect when equipped to the Void Subclass: [quote][b]Stylish Executioner[/b] Void Aspect Defeating a weakened, suppressed, or volatile target grants Invisibility and Truesight.[/quote] Here we see the description list every 3.0 Verb Debuff available to the Void Hunter Subclass, with the clear intent being that taking down an enemy affected by a Void Subclass Debuff placed upon them by the user (or another player running Void) will yield the intended reward. When choosing which Aspects would be available on the Hunter Prismatic Subclass, the devs likely determined that [b]Vanishing Step[/b] would be too easy a choice for many Hunters while [b]Trapper’s Ambush[/b] Quickfall ability would directly conflict with the new [b]Ascension[/b] Aspect. However that meant that [b]Stylish Executioner[/b] would need to be expanded to include other Subclass Verb Debuffs to remain a viable choice when equipped to Prismatic. And, perhaps in a choice to future-proof this decision against the possibility of adding additional new or existing options to the Prismatic Subclasses, the decision was made to extend the effect to include all Subclass Verb (ie. Elemental) Debuffs to the list of those compatible with the Aspect. As the Weapon of Sorrow DoT is not a Subclass Verb Debuff, I do not find it surprising that it does not proc [b]Stylish Executioner[/b]. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)
