PLATFORM: PlayStation / Xbox ISSUE: His Inventory does not contain trials passages for me. Therefore I cannot play trials. REPRO STEPS: I fly into Tower. Visit Saint 14. He only shows his vendor rank, vendor rewards, engrams etc. No passages. EXPECTED RESULT: He should have trials passages. I have compared my vendor menu with friends and my menu is legitimately just missing them. NOTES: I work in IT so I commonly google problems and deep dive Reddit for random fixes. I have spent hours googling this. The issue has persisted across both Xbox and PS5. I was was a vanilla Destiny 2 player who beat the whole campaign and the Raid. Haven’t played much since then. 1. Issue is on both Xbox and PS5 2 I have purchased ALL DLC content that exist in both stores for both consoles. 3. I have gone back and beat all campaigns except Shadowkeep. 4. I have maxed out Shax rank and reset it 5.i have gone to the old quest terminal to look for a trials quest. There was none. 6. I pulled the New Light quest from the old quest terminal and finished all of the new light quest hoping it would unlock. 7. I have done A LOT of competition matches. Well beyond placement and have been able even advanced rank. I’m just dumbfounded. It shouldn’t be this hard to figure out. Clearly there is some kind of logical code dependency that my account is missing. However I cannot figure it out. I am burning through all the old content hoping it unlocks something but I’m just about to give up. I’m also concerned that somehow when I enabled cross save with my Stadia account back in the day my account was sucked into some kind of quantum logic loop and is broken now. Any and all help will be appreciated. I loved trials back on D1 and is a big reason I put 70 days playing time in that game UPDATE: Thanks to this post here I found a work around. Saint 14 will give you the trials quest. This also proves it was a bug for me as well. I could tell as soon I walked up to him it was fixed as he finally had a blue vendor icon. The good news is most of my progress toward the quest was already completed so it shouldn’t take long. But still. Not a great solution. But if you want to play trials this is it.
