Bungie, please let solo players get an exotic class item on first Overthrow chest each week.
I have done Dual Destiny many times already, I’m lucky to have my son to help me. Over half your player base is solo. Why lock them out of this? Let them have it too. Solo players are some of your most faithful players, and they are willing to grind for a lot of things. They paid the same price as everyone, it’s unfair to them.
Edit: I am asking for solo players, not for me. I gave several amazing class items, such as - HOIL/Gyrfalcons, so amazing.

1 ReplyI agree. I'm sure there are a lot of players who don't like playing with other people. I only play solo and it's BS that solo players can't get exotic class items unless they're forced to do something they don't want to do. Locking the items behind a 'you must complete this with another player' makes no sense to begin with. Only players who are willing to play with others are deserving enough to obtain the item? Zero logic involved with that dumb requirement.

9 RepliesI say if they don't have it unlocked through the Dual Destiny mission, here's a solution: Every week, your first Overthrow chest gives you an item. When you have 12 of these items, you get the exotic class item unlocked for your characters, and they become farmable through pale heart chests as normal.

2 RepliesI think they should add it to completing excision each week. Granted, I still think you should have to do dual destiny beforehand to get them as a drop. Also, there is no way solo players are half the player base in a multiplayer game. Also, paying for the dlc doesn't entitle you to earn everything no matter what in a rng drop based game. All you're entitled to is access to the activities that you paid for. Refusing to play something or to do something doesn't mean you're being locked out of anything

They have the same access to the mission as everyone else.

5 RepliesWhile we're at it, let's get the raid & dungeon exotics to drop from our first patrol of the week too! I was diagnosed with solo player back in 1998, so it's not fair for me to be locked out of those rewards 😢

The game has an in game system to pair players together and run whatever content they wish.
