So now every PvE activity other than patrols are power capped. Vanguard Ops, Gambit, Exotic Missions, Dares of Eternity, Dungeons, Raids...EVERYTHING. It just completely defeats the purpose of leveling up and getting more powerful gear, since no matter what every enemy will be stronger than us by default. Guns and abilities just feel so much weaker out of nowhere, even in the most basic playlists you need a full mag to kill a slightly tankier red bar. Survivability is a pain now even at tier 10 resilience.
It just doesn't make sense, Strikes and Gambit are not meant to be sweaty, dares of eternity are lengthy enough and definetly don't need some underlevel stuff getting in the way, exotic missions, dungeons and raids have unique mechanics to make them challenging, so no need to rely on power capping to make them hard.
The worst part is that the rewards stayed completely untouched, the difficulty has gone up significantly but the loot you get out of it is just the same as before, so there is not even an incentive loot-wise to play anything.
I really hope Bungie reverts this at some point, because right now they have made a very big portion of the game objectivelly less fun.
