CAMPAIGN
Campaign isn't that good, maybe better than Lightfall, even though it was completely predictable and filled with mostly cut scenes and monologue.
PRISMATIC
I find it to be under-whelming. I don't even use transcendence. The concept is cool, but overall I feel it is nothing more than a novelty.
THE PALE HEART
This is the only thing I have enjoyed thus far. Patrols. Not alot compared to other AAA games, but so far the best in Destiny.
PATHFINDER
Lame. This is coming from someone who doesn't do bounties, but I still prefer the bounty system over Pathfinder because it doesn't force me to play content that I don't want. Also, why isn't it front and center in the director? Why is access to it somewhat hidden?
EXOTICS/WEAPONS/ARMOR
Pretty solid, even though I don't really have any plans to actually use any of it.
EPISODES
It appears to be the same as a season, except we are getting 3 instead of 4. So basically we are getting less content for the money if paid annually.
RAID
Haven't played it, because I don't do Raids. Not worth the time investment in my opinion.
SOUND
Not as good as previous DLC's.
GRAPHICS
Same. Dated.
OVERALL
As predicted, too much recycled content. Review: 6/10. As a Destiny main of the past 4 years, I really don't see myself sticking around much longer. I just I wish didn't give in to the hype and spend $200 on it. I'm not saying Destiny is a bad game, I'm just saying I think it has run its course, and I don't see Bungie bringing anything innovative to it in the future. Bungie just isn't the game developer it used to be.
I think Bungie/Destiny is dead.

4 RepliesIt's about a 7-8/10 realistically. The 10/10s are all glazing and due to people being so upset with how bad Lightfall was and how cutscene/narrative heavy TFS campaign was. While the cutscenes were awesome, the gameplay itself was pretty weak, far too linear, and had way too much empty time spent traveling from area to area. The part in the divide where you go up the snow mountain forever while fighting a handful of trash mobs was probably the most boring campaign mission I've ever experienced in a game. The Witness boss fight, Raid, and Pale Heart were all pretty solid, though to me Pale Heart isn't the Dreadnought or Dreaming City in terms of secrets/exploration. The episode is just a re-named season and the activity is pretty boring so far. Overall we're just in a honeymoon phase where people are just happy Bungie gave them cutscenes and nostalgia with the last mission. In a few weeks it will be back to normal Destiny 2.
