I miss the days when developers cared about the work they were producing because now it's all about pushing content out the door with most "developers" no matter how broken the content is, just push it out the door. Since D1 they have been failing and doing the things the community doesn’t want or already have. They always take something away bring it back put something a little new and say hey new content. Yup. It's pretty dang boring. It's honestly hilarious reading these paid reviews and comments from stealth employees trying to hype up this DLC as "the greatest in the history of the franchise". It just isn't, and no amount of lying about it is going to keep people logged in after they reach the point of diminishing returns. This DLC has exactly one good thing about it... The new location. Too bad the activities have no replayability.

This game will die just like it did last year

It’s the first week of Echos. Give it time. Furthermore, we are getting a more consistent stream of content with the Act system, which seems to go on to the very last week of the Episode. Thirdly, the content is drip fed. Not everything associated with the act is available at the current moment, and from the looks of it, each act will be similar to a “mini” season. The content should be equal if not more to the total amount of content we would get each year back in the seasonal model.

Bungie can spin it all they want, but episodes are the same as seasons. Same duration, same anemic content, just spread out over 4 months instead of 3. At least there will be more cutscenes! And let’s face it, Bungie shot their load on TFS so I don’t expect a lot out of episodes. I am looking forward to the dreadnaught though.

Can I just say - please wait more than a week lol. Episodes are timegating to the max. While annoying it also means that you shouldn’t just judge the whole system on week one.

I've been saying this for a week, there's nothing to do. WQ had more post campaign content & that was barren. The seasonal stuff is exactly that, but worse bcoz you're now level capped & can't go over 100, it's mind numbing. Pathfinder is -blam!-, I currently need 100 PvP ability kills or send 100 blockers,I'm doing neither so I'm effectively locked out of bright dust & pinnacles. I'm spending my evenings watching TV, I wake up & watch pawn stars or the news, I'd usually log on & play all day. I also just realised there's no pinnacle increase all YEAR. Games on its last legs

so do yall just not read the twabs? i mean you have the capabillity of accessing the website of which the twabs are located to i guess head to the forums and start -blam!-.... when they teased tfs theyve released numerous twabs about how episodes are just reowrked seasons, slightly longer, a little more fluffed, more story related, and a little more loot... gee maybe if this community was actually literate and could read they would know this -blam!-, theyve also released devstreams regarding episodes i dont know why this is such a dissapointment or surprise for yall... yall literally do it to yourselves at this point

Well.. in defence of destiny, it has been around for over ten years now. There's only so many ways they can show us how to shoot stuff and move around a bit.
