You say it's bannable, yet that clearly doesn't stop recovs, because they seem to know you don't actually do anything about it.
There are so many red flags when someone is recoving:
1: latency (when someone is using a VPN, they usually have insane latency due to the VPN)
2: when a 0.5 overall gets a 3.0 for the week
3: never been flawless before but gets flawless on all characters in one week
4: plays 3s, recovs almost ALWAYS play 3s (remember, they're getting paid, so they have to make sure they win, so they usually play with two of their high skilled friends or two other recovs)
It really is not that hard, fix it.
If you disagree, it's clear you either buy recovs, or you do recovs. Don't out yourself :)

I think you are allowed to have your friend play for you, in person or not. Having your friend play on your account while you are not able to play really should not be bannable. They want to get rid of people doing PAID recovs. I don’t really get why people care about recovs to be completely honest. The only reason i can see people getting mad at them is when you look somebody’s stats up and they look bad, but then they end up being a really good player. I do understand why paid recovs are not something that bungie wants in their game and I can respect that. From a bungie post https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049517431-Destiny-Account-Restrictions-and-Banning-Policies [quote]Account recoveries are when a player gives someone else access to their platform account and control of their Destiny characters. This not only puts your account security at risk, but it can also have adverse effects on other players’ experiences in competitive matchmade activities. Starting this Season, participating as a buyer or seller of account recovery services could result in a ban on your account. While we will only be placing bans or restrictions for certain circumstances, we strongly recommend that you never give your account login information to anyone else. Not recommended, but won’t get you banned: Sometimes I let my kid grind Lost Sectors. I asked my cousin’s friend to recover my account to check Xur because I was stuck at a wedding in a remote area with no internet access. My roommates and I all share an account on the common room’s console. I let my friend borrow my account to try out a weapon roll. What could get you banned or restricted: Charging others to recover their account for boosting, earning items, completing content, etc. Recovering accounts in exchange for anything of value including but not limited to Patreon supporters, subscribers, follows, gift cards, etc. Paying someone to recover your account to be boosted, have items earned, etc. Boosting recoveries done for free can also result in bans or restrictions.
