Account Hijacked and Characters Deleted
I have over 1600 hours of gameplay accumulated over 7 years, playing every expansion. Can Bungie please help restore my character that was deleted from my first slot? I'm devastated and don't feel like playing anymore after investing so much time with no way to recover my character.
I feel left behind having to regrind those 1600+ hours to get back to where I was. While my friends are willing to help, it's no longer enjoyable since I don't have the time to dedicate to regaining what I lost. Additionally, a hacker changed my account name, and I have to log in every day seeing a name I can't change due to the one-time name change policy. This whole situation is demoralizing.

Characters can only be deleted in game by following a series of specific button/key presses. 4 RepliesJeez these comments are toxic. I hope bungie can do something about this. Maybe they have a customer support area or something. I’d reach out to bungie themselves and explain the situation to them. I’m sure they could do something about it.

1 ReplyUnfortunately Bungie won’t do anything. Your choice is whether to start that character again. For what it’s worth, I deleted all my characters and also emptied my vault a few months ago before starting over again. There are a few things I wish I’d kept, but 🤷♀️.
