Anyone notice the hit reg being off recently in PvP
Started playing again after a break and been noticing that enemies seem to be able to get away with little to no health a lot more even though they’ve been hit 3 times in the head by a hand cannon.

I’ve noticed the hit registration being off for the last 5 years, not just recently. Also in your clip the reason you didn’t three tap him is because he is higher light level than you in Trials. You’re hitting 75 to the head instead of 81 and he has higher resilience, that has nothing to do with hit registration. The hit registration in this game has always been garbage though. Destiny 2 is the only FPS I have ever played where you can shoot someone in the foot and get a headshot and then shoot them in the head and get a body shot.

I played like 120 games of trials this weekend, and I only noticed it during 1 game.

9 RepliesIts worse when you are on PC and have to play a console player. Cross play blows and i leave games with a console player in it. They die 3 seconds later and the ping is so high their bullets go through walls.

I definitely noticed it last night in Trials when I slid around a corner, hit this hunter with conditional and a melee and he one shot me and somehow had full health. That was my last game of the night.

Then, the next match back to getting 3 hit kills. Next match 2 shots hit than zero damage after that even with headshots. Then players talk about lower kd, and it's a skill issue. As far as I can tell, there isn't anyone with any skill. They use the most meta weapons only and a build that ability spams nonstop. PvP has become a joke. The rest is all server issues, lag and bs on Bungies end.

Ive noticed a crap ton more cheaters now. All of them private steam accounts, brand new with no history, tunning entire teams of 6 without taking a scratch. Add in the full auto snipers, endless ability energy and the game is done for pvp.
