So let me preface this by saying that this only applies to the ritual playlist pathfinder. I believe that the pathfinder for destination is fine as is but the ritual could use a rework.
First, I would reintroduce bounties with the vendors. There’s no reason that these two systems can’t exist in harmony. The pathfinder could focus more gunplay/ability/kills challenges while bounties focus on completions so that they work in tandem without removing the need for the other.
Second, LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. To access the ritual pathfinder you have to go into the destinations and select one of the ritual playlists to access it. This is fine when in orbit, but if you’re in a game, it is very inconvenient to try and get to. Add another way to access it from the quests tab.
Third, let us get 3 drops of pinnacle gear. This would still apply to there being 3 ritual playlists. Limiting to two per week is kind of odd in my opinion. Also, throw in some more bright dust for completion ;).
Lastly, and I feel this is the most important. Pathfinder should be focused on one specific playlist at a time. If I’m doing strikes, my progress shouldn’t come to a standstill still because I need to switch over to crucible to complete something and vice versa. I have no problem playing all the playlists, but I know there are A LOT of PvE only players and probably some PvP mains that don’t enjoy strikes.
Don’t do away with Pathfinder, but it definitely needs improvement. Thank you.
