Game Crash When Shaping New Weapon
Hello -
Since TFS launched, every time I go to the enclave and use the relic, when I choose ‘Shape’ the game completely crashes. I’m on PS5. I posted this topic the other day and have seen the same issue on Reddit and Twitter with players also on PS5 but PC as well. This is separate from the reshaping problem currently under ‘known issues’. Hate to pester, but squeaky wheel etc etc

2 RepliesHi there, Thanks for reaching out! We'll pass this along to developers for further investigation. In the meantime, some users mentioned that selecting a weapon to reshape then backing out will allow users experiencing the issue to shape weapons.

3 RepliesEdited by breeny592: 6/14/2024 9:05:39 AMSame issue here on steam version. Did a fresh install, revalidated game files. Crash occurs when going to the enclave and selecting shape. I can open reshape without issue, but have a hard crash without an error code when selecting shape. Really disappointing as I've been working on several patterns and went to craft them and unable to access these new weapons I've worked for. EDIT: Found a fix that worked for me - go into reshape and select a weapon to reshape, then back out. This let me in to shape guns now.

Edited by YungSixPack: 6/14/2024 2:27:27 PMSame issue here on Steam/PC. I can open the Shape menu, but when I click on the Sidearms it instantly crashes my game. A day or two ago it weasel'd me, and then crashed me on the second try, but after relaunching the game I was able to craft. Now I can't even get that lucky, the Sidearms instantly crash the game every time.

1 ReplyI’ve been having this same issue too! I can reshape but every time I try and craft a new weapon, the game crashes. Tried reinstalling Destiny as well.
