I have to say after suffering through the mission for the exotic class item I was really disappointed to find out that it didn't pair with another exotic. Like in destiny 1. It seems like it would carry a perk that went with the exotic you were wearing. It's really not worth it playing through that mission to try to get a small chance of getting the roll you want. I thought it was going to have an exotic perk and then you would have on your exotic choice and you would match the two not have the class item have both perks. And then it only works with prismatic. That's disappointing.
