The solution for solo players to get class items is so simple
Just make them as a random rare drop for overthrow for solo players. I know they can drop but only after doing mission that solo player can't do. They could give double drops for mission to make it worth it for the people to run with there friends. But at least give solo players a chance at a rare drop. If a solo player don't get turned off from the game all together they probwont be playing with prismatic cause they will know there playing with a lesser version of the class.

Seriously all that is needed is giving those who want to do the mission a higher chance at getting the roll they want(hell, drop 2 each run) and then just have the RNG be low enough that it’s “rare” but still possible. Like, for example in The Division, there are a few exotics that can either be earned via the associated raid or a VERY low chance in the DZ. Doesn’t hurt the raid at all since it’s far more guaranteed but it gives those who don’t raid a chance to get things like the Eagle Bearer.

After you do the mission 1 time they do become random drops from overthrow
