Pathfinder for ritual playlist.... is bad!

just dumb, griefy, inconvenient, and a waste of time ...like trying to get the exact strike for enemy type needed. on a side note... stop forcing us to play what or how we do not want to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! both of these = not fun

agree 100%! Forcing to play unwanted crapy game modes (a.k.a. gambit/crucible) it's a VERY BAD gameplay solution to inflate statistics of your poorly made game modes. Let us to CHOOSE what bounty to make.

  • Agreed. I also hate that I have to jump into modes I don't enjoy. I don't want to play Gambit or PvP, and I'm sure there are others that don't want to run strikes. Make a dedicated pathfinder for each mode.

  • A pathfinder track for each ritual or a full pathfinder for each ritual please. I like the convenience of not having to head back to the tower as much. I like the concept of charting a path and the agency this allows (in the pale heart) I do not like the absolute lack of agency it offers anyone in the ritual playlist pathfinder. there it is the antithesis of that stated goal. stifling and obstructive. Now, I do play all three modes. when fully enthusiastic about the game and not playing something else I would vanguard one evening, gambit the next, then crucible. The current implementation does interfere with that, but the impact is minimal. to me. For destinations it is very much working and fit for purpose. For rituals it is certainly resulting in frustration for those who feel forced into modes they dislike and potentially resulting in disengagement of players who will withdraw from the reward track and associated activities rather than play disliked modes. I can't imagine it's going to be much fun for enthusiastic participants of those activities who keep finding themselves grouped with a team member who doesn't want to be there and is just begrudgingly chasing a goal from the pathfinder with minimal effort given towards the activity.

  • The gambit node where you have to drop 100 motes doesn't work right. I've dropped 44 one game and it said I put in 9. Another time 37 and it says 7

  • I just had a Pathfinder objective that wants me to deposit motes 100 times. Not 100 motes. 100 deposits of any number of motes. That's 25+ gambits. I have no idea what Bungie was thinking with that one, but it's ridiculous.
