Cross play/Cross save issue reset my display name

When I booted up the game today I was greeted with a message to enable cross play and cross save again even though I had already done so before. Up accepting the message my display name was reset to Guardian0611. I haven't received any notifications or emails that my name had been banned either. So I think it might be cross save related. I no name changes so I can't change it back.

You can try a different name if you have not previously changed it.[/b] If the system is not allowing more changes, there is no way to override it. What names have you tried thus far?

    • Hey there, there is no in-game notification or email about a Bungie-enforced name reset, but that's what happened here. When a name gets reported, reviewed by Bungie and deemed to violate code of conduct, you get that crossplay message.
