3 RepliesI thought that after 2 minutes, it just looks boring before you even do anything an I was right

I played the arena thing once and don’t want to play it again. The DLC felt new and interesting again last week. This episode/seasonal event felt like instant burnout.

6 RepliesI'm starting to have different opinions on final shape. Aside from the story (not gameplay) everything is boring honestly

9 RepliesFail safe and Nessus in general is boring.

Edited by Roach: 6/12/2024 6:09:17 AMThe "Episodes" should be called "Flashbacks" as we have seen this all before. Run here. Pick this up. Dump it here. Kill Boss. I dont care about this at all, even the premise of the "story" is the same with the unseen big bad being out there. Again. It's just old and tired.

Same. We took like 15 steps back from The Coil to this. Crazy.

1 ReplyTheres a secondary activity locked behind the missions. I enjoyed the vex network one more. They really should of just made a 12 man escalation protocol vex network themed

1 ReplyLooks like Bungie blew the budget on the campaign.

Yeah it’s definitely boring and really just more of same crap we’ve done a million times.

3 RepliesI honestly don't know what I just played. Constantly having to run from one end to the other to kill the same old timey vex from Shadowkeep season 1, then I'm picking up "data", which it says to put in somewhere, but the damn thing keeps disappearing before I get there. Is it bugged? I can't even tell. Then we go upstairs and fight Cabal and end up killing a boss. The dunk spot actually works there, so I can dunk a few. Then all of the sudden there is an elite Tormentor for some reason. I guess just "because". You would think Tormentors wouldn't even be a part of this, considering the Witness is gone and that's who was cloning them. Then all of the sudden boom... We're in the Failsafe shop, but it's not exactly the Failsafe shop, is it? It's a smaller version of that room, but with a chest. I don't even know what we were doing. I was on board after the Final Shape campaign and I suppose I'm okay exploring the Pale Heart for my fragments, but this was just weak. And why are we pretending we haven't seen Failsafe for years? Most players are in and out of there regularly. I just don't get it. And now we get the scout back from season of dawning, but it's worthless because it's kinetic? They turned the sidearm into Strand, but couldn't make the scout one of the darkness energies? It's a shame too, because it was a good scout. Bungie just made kinetic weapons obsolete. I know there are fragments based around kinetic damage, but they are incredibly weak fragments. I know it's day one of the episode, but it's just c tier, if that.
I don’t know what it is about this new seasonal activity but it is just not it it is so boring and not interesting at all I literally backed out five minutes in
Seasonal activities will never be enjoyable when they’re designed to be done by everyone without the possibility of challenge or failure. This seasonal activity fits that exactly and is really just awful.

I found it lacking in direction. My first play, the three of us were jus all over the map randomly finding, or not, enemies & then having a small trek to bank data. There's a lack of focus on where to be & when to be there. It's kinda hap hazard with spawns & bank location & is generally quite disorganised compared to other activities. I'm sure we'll get used to the areas over time, but right now it's sporadic & unfocused. At least everything doesn't go immune every 3 minutes & require us to stand in a place or do the same shield breaking mechanics 3 times jus to take down one Hydra 😉

The "legend" version did feel rewarding. But so far not so interesting.
