I'm gonna say it, Titan and Warlock were hit far too hard by nerfs.
The fact this entire world's first raid has been dominated by almost entirely hunters, is down right ridiculous. If even players that don't main the class were swapping to it, you know something has gone horribly wrong with class balance.
Its quite obvious that they have received far too much favouritism this expansion, with an entire meta exotic weapon essentially designed around them. You add to the fact that the other two classes received massive, overkill nerfs and Hunter hardly being touched and you get this, a Hunter only meta. The other two classes having almost no viable super in endgame.
Bungie needs to start buffing things and stop being so damn afraid of buffs.

2 RepliesHave you forgotten about strand titans ??? They were busted for 2 seasons long and before that it was the solar hammer build . Titans were always OP and unfair towards the other classes but titans cannot make builds , it is just copy pasta some streamer his "Busted" titan build . Then it gets nerfed and every titan does not know how the play the game , EVERYTIME ! It is funny how hard a titan can cry if he cannot abuse that what is broken . Just play the game .

17 RepliesHonestly have to agree for Warlocks. That Well nerf was far too hard on them. Went from granting actually good healing to basically hindering players for even running it. What kind of nerf is that Bungie. That's not a nerf, that's literally murder.

It's not that the nerfs were too much it's the fact that this game is tailored mostly towards Hunters, they have the best tools for enemy control, debuffs and offense. It did not help in the raid that the new exotic sniper gets buffed by Celestial Nighthawk with the Witness being so crit focused.

Bungie only listens to Hunters and messes over the other two class so no one can compete against them in crucible and Trials. I think Bungie is a Hunter main.

Now arc hunters are the best melee class and the dps class. Completely illogical on Bungies behalf. What a -blam!- joke.

Boss with giant crit spot is gonna favor precision damage like celestial hunter and still hunt. Same way that melee fights heavily favor banner titans. Titans and warlocks were fine the rest of the raid other than the last encounter

The new void ax super, solar hammers, and the arc missile, out of all those i use solar the most, and strand, another melee super but it’s better than the others. Prismatic titan so far is okay of course i dont have everything unlocked. Last season i mained a hunter and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

8 RepliesBoth are still viable enough. It wasnt the nerfs that made Hunter popular, it was the weapon that made them the best, easiest and most consistent damage. Not saying, that the well nerf wasnt too far, but I highly doubt Bungie had in mind how Nighthawk would make the sniper damage meta. There is no way they intended for Hunter to be as mandatory as it was (although I have no idea how Bungie intended people to reach the necessary damage in another way). I cant say much about Titan, but Prismatic Warlock is by far the best add clear Ive seen in the raid.

9 RepliesIt's literally just the new exotic sniper. But sure. Let's get wild. And while we're at it, let's also buff Marksman Golden Gun so it can at least deal as much damage as nova bomb. And revert the nerf to Young Ahamkara's Spine. The exotic perk is literally useless.

I’d say titans are fine in the raid until witness, then they’re useless lmao. Herald is still very, VERY vulnerable to pyrogale and thundercrash, and banner titan is still, imo, the best class in the game. I’m fine with titans taking a backseat to hunters for once, since that has literally never been the case since cuirass of the falling star released.

Titans have been struggling a bit in Raid environments, given how their Supers aren't the hottest thing out there. Bubble was made even more useless with Final Shape release. Who knew that'd be even possible. Thundercrash hits like wet noodle and forces you out of the DPS location. Pyrogale doesn't work if there's no ground route to the boss. Banner doesn't offer much when Bungie makes bosses that penetrates the Shield. Twilight Arsenal is quite nice, but according to damage testing.. it's quite low damage overall. Nova Bomb doing 493k vs Twilight at 394k.

The rest of the raid was more suited to the other two class, especially the first boss, where close range was the best option. You are not even participating in contest raids, so I do not understand how you’re going to try to give input on anything greeting to them. No nerf to the classes did anything to affect the final encounter.
