The new raid looks too hard
Bungie, this raid looks like it was designed for the elites that play together every week, consider the majority of your player base (the casual solo or duo)
And balance around what they could do in an lfg in future please

Agreed while others hate to hear it. They have Master mode for the ones who want a real challenge. While I am someone who plays Master content and goes for challenges and seals when I can. The first few encounters aren't bad it's at Verity where the raid gets super annoying. It's a cool concept but poorly executed.

5 RepliesHonestly I just wish contest mode was 24 hours only so you could run normal mode Saturday night. I tried contest out with lfg groups and had fun with the attempts we had, but it would be nice to get a chance to run normal on opening weekend too. Or just make contest mode optional 🤷🏼♂️ not sure why that has never been a thing.

3 RepliesSeriously??? You are judging the raid based on Day 1 contest mode. Immediately going onto a forum to complain it is too hard. In a couple of weeks players will be getting it done quickly and smoothly. Not just elitists but ordinary untalented scrubs like me with the help of his clan mates.

1 ReplyThe loot is hot garbage, the perk combinations are old and bland. If the guns don’t look and sound absolutely amazing I’m not even going to play this raid. I understand some play just for fun. Not me, I need a carrot on the stick. Some cool perk combos. The exotic looks incredibly boring as well. I dunno, maybe they’ll look and sound great.

1 ReplyOn one hand it should be hard On the other the LAST thing after TEN YEARS should be accessible to the people who started Its a very odd position to say the least and honestly I have no comment on it. I honestly don't think there's a wrong answer here. This definitely falls in the dead middle of "gray area"

16 RepliesIf you played Destiny 1 from launch you’re likely in your mid twenties or early 30s. Most people I knew I’ve parted ways with, some had families, others joined the military. Most of your D1 players are casuals now purely because of real life responsibilities. Ending the experience by catering to hardcore gamers was the wrong move.

Azetcross and other streamers asked for it. Bungie delivered. Us normal people have to take notes and do it after contest mode.

4 RepliesIt will get better after contest mode is done. Bungie disabled tons of gear and perks and the players are at least 20 below the enemies, and of course, all the old strategies with things like Well of Radiance aren't as viable anymore. But right now, pretty much all the streamers look like they are rethinking their choices in life.

The same thing was said about a lot of raids during contest. Most notably last wish and Vow.

1 ReplyRaids were designed to be difficult, the only thing that’s stopping people (including me) is our pea brains not willing to understand the mechanics and what have you. Don’t like it? Don’t do it.

Its contest mode remember. Chill, its the last raid for the game idk why you want it not to be this hard?
