Why have those bounties been removed from the game? How are we supposed to farm for Bright Dust? I don't know if there are other sources for players who did not buy The Final Shape. But if this is another way for them to try and make me sh*t more money, they are sorely mistaken. The only result they have achieved is to piss me off even more than I was already.
And, by the way, I am not going to spend any more money on this game, no matter how hard they try.

1 ReplyPeople complained about the bounty grind. They changed it up. Now ya’ll complaining about this. This community is never happy. Have a shitty day people.

11 Replies"I am not going to spend any more money on this ga-" they don't care. They do not care. Why not? Because this was the last DLC. You don't HAVE to spend more money. They already made their money, and the people who want the cosmetics and have money to burn will continue buying Silver. Your wallet means nothing to them, and acting like they care is the dumbest thing you can do.

8 RepliesWhile I really don't like the pathfinder system forcing you to play ritual activities you don't want, it is the source of repeatable bright dust. You get 150 each time you complete it, 10 times per week. After that you only get 30 though. I feel like the bright dust situation actually would be improved if the pathfinder itself had more player agency.
-
We've known about the bounties being removed for a while. The Pathfinder system replaced them.
-
1 ReplyBecause bungie wants you to purchase cosmetics not play for them. Simple as that. It has nothing to do with bounty fatigue.. after all, the path is bounties in a different form.

How are we supposed to farm for Bright Dust?
You were never supposed to 'farm' bright dust.

How can you take it seriously everyone got 1000% accuracy lol lose every game oh well big whoop can play Splitgate, Overwatch2, Warlander, etc and dominate no sense in feeling any way in the worse matchmaker in all of gaming history any who…. Keep typing I’m trash here so I can destroy in an actual competent PvP environment

Lol $600,000 got censored!

Simple, -blam!- bonuses aren't enough.. (Pete Parsons)
-
That might be the reason. Less bright dust means more chance of ppl buying silver

Guardian, Archon Of LightArchon Priest Of House Light - old
Because people btched about bounty fatigue blame those people -
Well, that'll work until the yearly events pop up with all the Brite dust bounties, unless they Pathfinder that too.

1 ReplyNothing new here because they have been slowly doing this since Destiny 2 was released and I can only imagine how much BD some gamers have acquired because the developer refused to do anything right about it and it has become a huge problem for a few years now. Legendary shards are an example of how poorly they handle material in this game. It's not the gamer's fault that they acquire so much BD, it's the developer's fault for deliberately designing a very poor system to try to get people to buy silver. It's why the shop was one of the first things put into the directory. It's not just BD either, this has affected everything throughout the entire game when it comes to material. So, what has been their "solution" this entire time?
Nothing other than removing material from the game or making people delete material 1 at a time offering no other way to make the material in this game useful.
That's just wrong 🤷♂️

Isn't it obvious?

1 ReplyEdited by Wiz Waz the unfathomable: 6/7/2024 1:22:13 AMOn this post also almost everyone is misunderstanding whats happening. Im sorry to be repetitive but im going to repost my reply here as well. Hopefully people will understand that this is a net loss to players. -Witch queen gave us 12,500 with the season pass per season. So 50,000 a year -Lightfall lowered that to 10,500 with the pass per season. 42,000 for the year. -In the Final Shape episodes they increased the amount of bright dust to 14,000 per season with the season pass which keeps it at 42,000 per year. The "extra" bright dust in the season only serves to keep us even with lightfall due to the shift from quarterly seasons to triannual episodes. You could previously earn 4,600 bright dust per character per season with the vendor challenges. So that would be 56,000 per year. Im not familiar with the full pathfinder system but let's assume that pathfinder will continue to allow us to earn a similar amount. If not then we end up losing bright dust there as well. Either way we still end up losing a massive amount of bright dust. I would easily complete around a hundred bright dust bounties a week. So an extra 1,000 bright dust per week. Or around 52,000 a year. Thats just gone now...

I’m Bungie Bingeing nowadays, paid $40 for the entire Lightfall expansion. See you in 6 mos. when the temp drops and snow flies once again. I take my summers off

5 RepliesYou get bright dust from path finder now instead.
-
1 ReplyIt should be obvious; they DON'T want you to farm bright dust so that you DON'T purchase everything from the Eververse for free all willy-nilly.
-
Cause buy silver, that's why.
-
Well this is new. Farming for bright dust was/is a thing? Of all the things to farm in game bright dust has never remotely been a concern/issue/priority for me. Honestly, I wouldn't notice if bright dust was gone completely. I only go to Eververse when there is an engram to collect which invariably gets dismantled. Also with the all the ££££ I have spent over 10 years playing Destiny I am more concerned with quality of the dlc content , seasons etc and probably many other issues that would come before this issue.
-
3 RepliesThey are basically removing that so you spend silver. We used to get a few bounties like that but silver is what they want.

25 RepliesPathfinder. Have u seen where they do it? Plus the fact, u can get some from season triumphs
