Yo we need to sign a potition to change them back, I can't even find what im looking for and it's that sad
-
1 ReplyIt threw me off for a minute, but all of my shaders are there, at least the ones I was looking for. And, I like that you can Favorite them now. Maybe you could before and I never noticed.
-
Absolutely flummoxed as to who changed that setup and thought "Oh yeah, this is MUCH better, easier to use, etc!"
-
I'm more upset that they nerfed Chitin Slate so you can turn the light off on warlock bonds anymore.
-
It's the ugliest shii I have ever seen. It's just a strain to the eye. I can't even find the shades I like. I have to really focus on them.
-
4 RepliesThey should be circles like in D1
-
It’ll take time to get used to it again, but I prefer this style. It’s much better for new players, too.

3 RepliesEdited by Grim: 6/5/2024 1:52:15 AM*Petition But also true, I thought the last shader change was bad when I couldn't even find them. Now I don't even know what I'm looking for anymore. F**k it super black is never coming off now
-
It only got worse and I don’t understand even more...
-
1 ReplyYeah can’t even tell what they are lol
-
1 ReplyGood thing I remember the names because I have no idea what I’m looking at with them
-
+1 These are -blam!- horrid
-
This so much....favourite shaders selected before update But damn glad I know many of the names, because this is confusing as -blam!-
-
Shader shows yellow, red ,green ,blue. After equiping colors are black, purple, orange and white 🫠

Edited by an engram full of bees: 6/5/2024 9:54:31 PMThe only thing we needed was a ring to represent glow colors. That’s it. That was all they needed to add. A circle.

1 ReplyEdited by nusho: 6/6/2024 1:47:15 PMPeople have been complaining about the shader icons for YEARS. Because they don't display what they actually apply to your character in the icon. What Bungie should have done along with this change was add a search bar to the top of every inventory screen in the game, including shaders. So that we can simply type in the name of the shader we're looking for and it'll make all of the other shaders fall away. But I can promise you that within a week or two, you'll be using these new icons like it never happened. I've only been looking at them for a day and I can already pick out all of my shaders with no problem. Doesn't take as long to get used to as you might think. Just give it some time, and chill out.

3 RepliesRight, most are unrecognizable.
-
Change them back to the way they looked in D1
-
This is why I add favorite to the ones I liked 🤗
-
YES! this change was so horrible
-
2 Replieswhy would they try to change something that has been working for everyone I dont get it. I dont get the reasoning behind this decision at all. Why would they change it to this horrifying thing.....

3 RepliesIt tells you what it is when you hover over it though
-
100 percent agree. This new display is horrific
Yo we need to sign a potition to change them back, I can't even find what im looking for and it's that sad
Yeah, I can't tell what I'm looking at. Weird decision for sure
-
Omg, yes please! Secondly, I would like to suggest they make the colors apply correctly too.
-
1 Replyyea that change was just baffling.. tho it did make me think of how to actually help players with shaders.. the idea was kinda like how formular 1 does their cars you take the shaders brand that its from be that a letter or icon and color the background and the icon itself in a simple way and make each one look district and now your brain will rememebr the 3 visible colors + the icon for any effects like lighting or rust that would show up on the overall shader icon or the border like with the RGB lighting that would show on the border shifting colors less is more
