It's been garbage for years. I can already hear everyone rushing here to tell me it's not and that it's just supposed to be a champion killer/roaming super or that it does plenty of damage blah blah, but why would I use it for ad clear when stormtrance is supposed to be an ad clearer and why would I take chaos Reach over mova bomb as a champ killer? Hell, Well is still a better champion killer via Radiance and survivability. It was designed to be a dps super, it just got power crept because of all the exotics Bungie gave to other classes to boost super damage while nerfing CR due to PvP. It's damage is comparable to other one and done supers but those supers can be combined with heavy weapon dps whereas you're locked into CR for much longer for only the same damage it took half the time for a hunter or titan to put out. Bungie pretend it doesn't exist because they either don't care or they're scared of overscaling it because it's the only super of its kind. I say overtune it, you still need to fully commit to the super for it to have any impact anyway, it's damage should be higher than one and done supers. We need Bungie to at least talk about this super and acknowledge that it's in limbo and has no clear identity.
