All I been experiencing is cheaters people running macros on PlayStation none stop if you guys don't fix this I'm quitting destiny for good!
-
But I am good a T-bagging. It may look like a macro. But I am just talented.
-
Don’t play pvp. Problem solved
-
Agreed. Some company needs to take a stand against 3rd party hardware, and why shouldn't that company be Bungie?
-
1 ReplyI doubt you can differentiate between legit good players and cheaters…
-
Hard to tell both in PvP and PvE. When it comes to connectivity issues it puts another layer into the hard to tell category. Low player count activities plus faulty matchmaking tend to stack teams. I will note that good or cheating there is a small group that can’t help themselves and tune something to be invincible. When they look to be turning and on inspection they are using basic equipment they deserve a ban hammer.

2 RepliesEveryone should start naming names. To hell with the temporary forum ban from the volunteer stooges known as ninjas. If they have to start foum banning too many people its sure to raise some eyebrows especially since Sony has their hawkeyes on em. That said Im sure they’ll sweep it under the rug and pretend the “Anti-cheat” is working perfectly fine as they always do.
-
4 RepliesCrouching spam should be banned
-
5 RepliesEveryone in you team is under 1kd and you're using Outbreak in Trials.
-
1 ReplyIt’s mostly from players from Germany, Europe and Asia. That’s what I noticed. I’m using a scuf and kontrol freeks with 9 years of experience with a 2.89 overall kd 300k pvp kills and somehow a 1.0 new light is out gunnning me

Bungie does indeed not care. Advertising “accessibility” devices is not allowed but they are available anywhere and can turn any gun in a laserbeam while you recieve 0 flinch. Completely bypasses Battleye, and they have been available since D1 day 1. Just pride yourself in not using them, it is also easy to spot them when an SMG maps you at auto rifle range without missing a shot. And then there are the paid cheats, which would be detected if they cared enough to add them to Battleye in time. Battleye, which takes up CPU resources or RAM or whatever, and it is just a massive failure. It’ll ban you if you have Cheat Engine like programs running in the background from a different game. But fails to stop any of the above. The best part? Sony and Xbox announced to be cracking down on these, over a year ago. Nothing has happened.

Bungie does not care
-
I don’t think I’ve experienced any cheating but I have seen players teleport. I played a match and I was shooting at this guy who teleported and got the kill. I’ve seen a hunter dodge into a teleport. It’s definitely annoying.
-
You more than likely encountered a member of the D1 pre vet community/Hunter main. They were displaying their skill, passion and gravitas.
-
2 RepliesPart of me feels bad that the cheating problem is now being felt by console players, but the other part of me thinks that maybe this is what it will take for Bungie to finally do something about it
-
We have previously banned cheaters that are back streaming d2 which says enough tbh
-
6 RepliesLook im not gonna argue this again. But it's hard to take a .78kd player seriously when they claim everyone is hacking for obvious reasons. There are cheaters for sure. But it's unlikely you are facing them that much, you're more likely miss identifying above average players as cheaters, maybe along with a few actual ones. If you want ppl to take you seriously on this you need some kind of evidence. Either an exact reason you think specific [redacted] players are cheating or video evidence which should be submitted to bungie and others have said they've had good results with that method. https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049497451-Report-Suspected-Cheating-and-Poor-Behavior

1 ReplyYou cheater conspiracy people are funny, if someone outplayed you it must be aimbot, if you get shot behind cover it must be a cheat , has if both your and there system is 100% synced in real time with perfect connection I get my a$$ handed to me alot in Trials, but I haven't seen any cheaters , just really good players several levels beyond my skill and reflexes, some matches it feels like I had no chance no matter what I did, but that's because they are just better at the game than me

Edited by SurgeActual: 6/2/2024 11:19:19 AMThats cool and all but don’t let this distract you from the fact that *ahem* Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So lets get to taking out their command one by one.

2 RepliesEdited by MrBJovi: 6/2/2024 12:08:45 AMAs an ex IT/ICT person, this goes far further than what meets the eye. I agree! A line needs to be drawn now from the devs. Macros are paid private servers that enable people to run whatever without being caught on all consoles. These carry servers or individuals run VPN from these macro servers and then implement the cheats and hacks, which give mammoth advantage over standard games. Destiny is, unfortunately, over run with them. I'm also on the fence with continuing due to this issue. I'm getting tired of paying good money only to miss out on even more content because of this. Thanks.

As a PvE main can't say who cheats or not only time i go into PvP is if i need a catalist 😂. Now having said that, i don't take that s*#$& too seriously it's just a match not an EA tournament.

6 RepliesEdited by Rev: 6/1/2024 7:34:01 PMI seriously can't tell who is or isn't cheating anymore. After a pretty shaky Trials experience last night, several players I went up against did not play like their stats suggest. Like this one player with a 0.93 overall with excellent positioning, accuracy, and crouch-strafe capability. I'm starting to feel like I'm the only human being left in this game who actually misses their shots once in a while.

1 ReplyTrials, I’m guessing? Human will is weak. In the event someone can’t achieve something normally, they’ll (of course…) use cheats, mods, or risk the use of paid carry and recovery services to boost their chances at loot. That’s why these services absolutely THRIVE in this game. If people stopped being weak willed and deceitful, these services would DIE in destiny. No one buying, no point in selling. They’d move to other games… That’s not reality. Trials brings out the worst in everyone. While I think this “cheating epidemic,” is smaller then everyone believes it is, we can’t ignore the obvious fact that people are risking EVERYTHING (credit cards, account, identity theft, other personal information of ALL types) to win at not only trials, but ALL high tier endgame content in game. Removing this content is not the answer either… There will ALWAYS be weak willed humans ready to throw pretty much EVERYTHING away for a chance at high tier loot in a silly little video game. This will never change.

2 RepliesEdited by ㅤ Avvor: 6/1/2024 8:05:40 PMYou should record and upload it Then high end players can tell you if there legit or not

Could possibly be you're a .9 , they're cheating .....

b.. but ive been told that bungos security is SOLID and REALY GREAT and FLAWLESS. and WORKING AS INTENDED!

22 RepliesHow can you tell someone is using macros ? I think Ive run into maybe 2 or 3 device users over the past month.; and once they were on my team.
