3 RepliesPeople who complain about Bungie having a “favorite class” simply aren’t effective with their class of choice and blame Bungie for making other classes “better”. Every class has its strengths and weaknesses. Hunters arent gonna be nuking entire rooms with their melee abilities like Consecration Titans. Warlocks arent gonna be looping Invisibility to the point of never having aggro like Stylish Executioner Hunters. Titans arent gonna have the crazy nade spam and personal sentry guns (buddies) like Warlocks. If you dont like the kit that your class has, or are just jealous of another classes kit, then play a different class. Quit crying that your own class cant do everything because its not supposed to, or else why would their be classes in the first place?

14 RepliesHunters are the devs favourite, it's a well known fact. You have the most powerful broken super for the past 7 months that destiny 2 has ever had. How long would it have lasted if warlocks or titans had it? A matter of weeks most likely.

It's common knowledge Hunters are Bungies favorite Took away ohk shoulder charge , and gave Hunters an infinite auto aim knife they can one shot people on the other end of Disjunction with Titan and Warlocks are just token bonus classes to Bungie

Every class has been cracked at some point. The only class I think gets shafted the most is Warlocks, but that’s because they are the “Space Magic” class.

2 RepliesThe highest damage warlock super does less than half of what a hunter can put out with multiple different options soo..? Warlock prismatic looks like a joke with three set and forget abilities and next to no actual build variability and only one half-decent super and melee so there’s that too lol

Every moment from void 3.0 onwards titans have either launched game breakingly overpowered on had exotics that are such powerful crutches they get like halved in effectiveness and are still insane. Without a doubt titan will launch with prismatic and be nerfed within days because of how busted it will be if not already nerfed on launch.

1 ReplyAnyone who thinks Bungie favours any class is a bit naive. They favour the game succeeding and having their jobs. Their motivations are for the game to be do well as a product and to be well received not for some aspect of it to be more powerful than another.

Hunters are evasive and cannon-ish. Evasion is arguably the easiest method of "defense" while it's common knowledge that Hunters are supposed to be glass cannons. It's no surprise Hunter is easier for most people. I find Warlock to be the easiest. Do I think they're Bungie's favorite? Nope. I couldn't imagine Bungie favoring one over the other (Hunter main, admittedly). Why? Some ex-developer would have straight outed them for it by now. I think it's just the way most of you play is easiest on Hunter and the fact that the way damage across classes is regulated is so piss poorly managed equates to Warlocks and Titans being left behind sometimes. The shutdown super issue? Hunters need to fire and be gone. Roaming is just gonna get you killed. The issue is, with Titans and Warlocks, they don't have enough survivability on roaming to argue in favor of that super type, but they're supposed to, especially since most roamings are close-range.

I would say that some facets seem to lean into the Hunter builds quite strongly.

18 RepliesCounter point, strand hunter is the only strand class with any thought put into it. So much so that the rest of all other strand classes were given the grapple grenade. Hunters are the favorite. It’s not new. You got some -blam!- exotics? -blam!- who cares Hunter class plays itself. You can use all of the kits with no exotic and have endless abilities

9 RepliesI think Titans have been slowly but steadily taking over that spot. Banner of War+ has been busted for over a year. Now its soon going to be massive extra damage for free PLUS extra damage on top for the best side-arms in the game PLUS extra damage on all rockets as well.
