Is the Final Shape playable or worth buying if you refuse to buy Lightfall?
Is it bungie's stance that if you don't buy Lightfall you shouldn't buy the Final Shape? Or if you buy the Final Shape without Lightfall ($80 or more for both) you will be locked out of most things, like you are now? Does everyone buying the Final Shape know this? Is this affecting preorder sales? Just looking for concrete clarification.

Next week there will be an everything and catchup sku bundles. To answer your question, no... You don't need Lightfall to access Prismatic mechanics that originated in Lightfall. I don't know if you'll be locked out of the dedicated Strand subclass, but you might be.
