Challenges are completed by an average of 30% of the player base, just check the statistics for Light dot gg and Bray dot tech. For example, to date 25.16% of players have obtained Wicked Implement according Bray dot tech. For example, the triumph "Catching Waves" was completed by 16.06% of players according Bray dot tech. For example, the triumph "Disable Safety Routines" was completed by 24.15% of players according Bray dot tech. And so on.
Challenges are not synonymous of fun.
Burnout has been happening more frequently due to this decision by Bungie, several posts on Twitter show this.

15 RepliesI completely disagree. Its human nature to want to overcome challenges, and to be happy and excited when you overcome them. Without challenges, what would this game even be? And why would anyone be motivated to play it? Day one raids, solo dungeons, GM’s, Trials, Pantheon, these are challenges that players strive to excel at. If you take all those away, this game would have died a long time ago. Not that you would understand considering you have never done a dungeon solo, completed a day 1 raid, or even attempted Pantheon. You’re also extremely inactive when it comes to relevant raids/dungeons. Why even make this post when you dont even do/try the challenges you are complaining about?
