“Can we glitch the timer” said the lfg in a speedrun
I’m trying to get my outbreak perfected catalysts (already got the switches on a solo run) and put up a post for a speedrun of the legend mission. The first thing one of the two people joining ask me is “do you guys know how to pause the timer?” Which should have been a red flag to kick him, but I didn’t want to be toxic.
By the time I’m getting past Trevor, they’re both still on the outside wall. And there is only 7 minutes left, so I just left to orbit.
Please don’t join a speedrun if you can say yes to either of the following
1) Do you want to glitch the timer?
2) Do you not know where you are going?

3 RepliesThe only reason to want to glitch the timer is to do all 3 vault puzzles in one legendary run, and kill the boss. Otherwise, Im not sitting around for 10+ minutes to wait to kill a dreg. Yeah, when people come in asking about certain cheeses, it definitely is a red flag. I remember back in the day after they patched Atheon and Templar, people coming in LFG still saying that they can push them off, and waste an hour trying, then we run legit and finish first run with no help from that player.
