You’ve shown with Destiny that you have no clue how to balance anything in pvp. I don’t know if cheaters or poor/ non existent lobby balancing is worse. How many times can you go into a competitive playlist with 6 solos and the 3 guilded flawless players are on the same team while the scallywags, starbakers and dredgens are put together for fodder.
Edit: yeah so obviously I posted this after playing trials😂. It’s like I turn into the hulk when I’m playing that crap but after I’m done I turn back into a normal person.

I'm not buying it because has The Dark Zone in the Division showed, extraction shooters are Toxic AF -
They couldnt handle the crucible, yet they think they can handle a PvP only game.... Hilarious
-
I personally have no interest in playing a pvp-only game.
-
1 ReplyDon't worry. Marathon will be free to play and loaded with mirco transactions.
-
I’m not going to invest any time and money into another bungie game again. Three things would go a long way to change that for me: 1. Separating PVE and PVP in terms of weapons/armour balancing. 2. Getting rid of Silver as a currency and using bright dust only which you can earn in game or purchase if you want to. 3. Dedicated servers.
-
I think they may be getting that picture I won’t be surprised if it doesn’t make it to release at this point
-
1 ReplyPretty sure it’s been put on an indefinite hold.
-
It's always the unbrokens, glorious and flawless on their team while I have the seasonal title kinderguardians smh
-
I likely won’t buy marathon but it’s because it isn’t destiny.
-
It's PvP based. Meh. PvP can suck a fat one for all I care.
-
The fact that it's a pvp game is more than enough to keep and anyone I know from buying. There better extraction shooter and Bungies has proven that the can't make a good pvp game. If you need proof, hop in crucible 😂
-
1 ReplyBungie lost me at extraction shooter don't like PvP so just no.
-
Bungie is wasting their funding and development team time on Marathon. They already know how little interest there is in Gambit, yet they ignore this signal. Extraction shooters are not even popular. They are a dying genre. The company will have to learn the hard way just as they did with the changes in Y1 of D2. As Aztecross pointed out in a video months ago, the release of Marathon means large bonuses for top management. There is your answer why Marathon continues to be developed.
-
I actually think a dedicated pvp game will do much better!!

I was a little interested in Marathon. Then I saw it was going to be an extraction shooter and any interest I had evaporated. -
I , am, a star baker.
-
HEEYYYYYYYYY!!!! Those darn cookies didn't bake themselves, you know! I EARNED my Starbaker title ... 🤣!

Depends on the robots T&A

I enjoy the Crucible, but hopefully Marathon will be its own thing. If it’s PvP focussed (has an actual PvP team working on it with a substantially bigger budget than Crucible) it’s going to be very different to Destiny.
-
Marathon can be really good based on how its built from the ground up. Destiny should be one way and spends too much time trying to be the opposite of what it is. Balance... BAH!
