Fireteam finder lobbies are treating players rudely and unfair. Nobody will give anyone a chance to join them and it’s been that way for a lot of people that play. Also posting lfg whenever they have a full team and or have their settings set to friends only not letting anyone join is a problem too. It’s become toxic and not fun for other players to even enjoy the game without people kicking others for no reason or for being toxic and not giving anyone a chance to play. I’ve been kicked at the end of every pantheon final encounter due to toxic fireteam players and have yet been able to claim my exotic at the end. This isn’t fun anymore and it’s just unfair and upsetting for other players. Can’t something be done for players being toxic to other players.

Edited by The Legend Himself: GONZO: 5/24/2024 4:09:22 PMThis is a genuine problem. Ignore all the morons saying “just form your own LFG,” as if this “advice” can be universally adopted. Hopefully Bungie does something about it. With that being said, I strongly recommend you work on your builds to not be a liability to your fireteam. There are many good guides out there on YouTube. Other people’s time is valuable too.

Bungie could easily solve this in one or more ways. Perhaps make raids a bit less technical to where a 4 man team can carry 2 that are new through the encounter. Designing encounters with multiple phases of flawless mechanics and a single revive token per teammate ( coin operated ghosts who thought of this? ) is just senseless. Hard mode okay sure but normal mode should be self revive. Another way would be to incentivize people being Sherpas. Give them a title to unlock and guild just like any other title. Also sherpas should get unique gear / weapons with special perks like enhanced recovery or damage / resistance buffs or enhanced supers or abilities. A unique Sherpa only shader, skimmer/sparrow ghost and ship. Maybe something cool like special flames or an aura. Remember D1 nightfall hard clears? Cool blue flames 🔥 around the head and xp boost on everything else till next weekly reset. Bungie could easily add these things and not make a single change to the game mechanics or phases or encounters. Imagine the lfg posts then. Must have Zero clears, I mean none, nada, zilch. Checking raid reports. Regular raiders will get kicked!

If you are attempting higher need content and come in with a wildly bad loadout, you should not expect to be invited. I have had one toxic encounter on lfg in recent monitory out of hundreds. To pretend this is an issue is nonsensical.

2 RepliesGet better loot. Don’t try higher tier content with no clue or willingness to learn. That’s cringe af fam.

2 RepliesIf you don’t wanna experience elitism in destiny 2 then try another game. I’ve been kicked for no reason at chests, it happens… people suck. Try making your own fireteam. There is no fix bungie can implement for toxicity.
-
6 RepliesMan, if I saw any of your current loadouts on pantheon I'd kick you right at the beginning.

2 RepliesOP: Ouch! 🫤 ‘Kicked before every final boss on every (how many??) pantheon run?!’ 🧐 If it happens 1x in any endgame activity, it’s 1x too many. ❌❌❌ There was a recent flurry of threads / posts concerning the ‘kicked before final chest’ issue…I believe there is a report mechanism in place…though not sure how effective it is. The common consensus is to only run with your regular buddies; or YOU create your own LFG team. ✅✅✅ It’s been oft’ requested that BHQ insert a ‘no kick before ALL players receive the loot’ mechanism; especially in endgame team activities. There’s enough complaints about this issue to warrant such! 👈👈👈 A comment from BHQ would be well received! 🤔 ITMT: chin up, Guardian, and… Ease Springs! 🫡

How is it that bungie hasn't done something about this yet ? booting at the chest has been a thing for years why hasn't bungie removed the option yet when boss is dead or before encounter starts you shouldn't be able to boot players without returning to orbit tbh . Sorry you've had to deal with this I blame bungie for supporting these toxic try hards, this is what happens when majority of chill players are pushed from the game due to nerfs to fun etc you get left with these types to match with that will boot at chest etc ever since bungie increased the difficulty in endgame booting at the chest became more common . The excuse most use of make your own fireteam is a joke too it's simple noone should be able to boot a player at a boss chest drop
