Pantheon difficulty

I personally like the difficulty but my normal raid team had to tap out at level 3, and we only just made it to atrax by the end. So does the added difficulty make the game more fun to play if you cant complete the content? Im leaning toward no - thinking from an average players POV. I think 15 under on master is something like 55% less damage vs at power level… The encounters we had trouble on were also day1 killers. Caretaker- burst damage x3, losing damage bc moving plates too soon, losing time and lives bc of unoptimized guide training people to run content on easy mode but doesnt work for hard mode. Planets- burst dmg x 3. Again poor guide about how mechanics actually work so people die for no reason…and just do it like on normal mode which may not be successful near contest mode difficulty..and the fire was very deadly Atrax- burst dmg if not enough, wipe…the odd not being able to see which one was glowing… For all- ppl dont have a meta heavy weapon that matches the surge. So I think its too hard for everyone but the serious raider… And if you are going to make content this challenging, make it last a bit longer. At this point my team is never going to make it to try riven legit- which would be fun in its own right.
